As Verizon and At&t battle each other out during commercials regarding their 3G coverage, we’re left wondering what do these commercials really accomplish?
Verizon boasts the largest 3G network. At&t boasts the fastest 3G network (plus coverage of 97% of Americans via the Edge network).
Our question is are these commercials at all effective in making people switch from one network to another? My personal take is that the constant back and forth just makes both companies look like bickering school children, while the average consumer in a major metropolitan area wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between the two anyways.
