Innovative: Sketch a Search App

Yahoo released an iPhone app that lets you literally draw a circle around a specific area and search restaurants inside that custom area. This is an excellent upgrade over searching ‘near’ current location and getting lots of useless results. For me, this is the first big thing I have seen that’s a benefit over Google maps. Kudos to Yahoo for keeping on.. :)

This is nice and I’m glad to see innovation in location based services. I hope this helps Yahoo get their Ox out of the ditch. Funny though…Yahoo partnered with Bing for search algorithms and this app looks like it’s using Google maps even though Bing has a map API as well. Strange times…:).

We’re working on something in this space that we’re hoping will be even more useful…stay tuned.

My complements on the blog and Clutterpad. I wasn’t aware of the product before but now that it’s on the radar I’ll keep a close eye on it and wish you much success!

Will do and thank you too. I posted an entry on this on our blog and attributed Business is Pleasure and added you to our blogroll…I see many similarities in philosophy and again, wish you all the best. Clutterpad looks like a nice solution to something I was whining about earlier today…specifically that all of our data is scattered between Dropbox, Huddle, Google Docs, etc. One stop shopping is what Clutterpad seems to offer and I’m anxious to take it out for a test drive.
