What iOS 4.1 has to offer

So many people are excited on the latest stuff from Apple especially the much awaited iOS 4.1. Everyone’s been talking about it, and thankfully Steve Jobs already mentioned it last September 01, 2010 in the Apple Music Event.

So what, generally, does the iOS 4.1 do for you? Here are the things that will definitely make you smile ear to ear:

1. Bugs have been fixed: proximity sensor bugs, iPhone 3G performance bugs, Bluetooth bugs, etc. Steve Jobs says they got a lot of emails for the bugs, so I guess this is a good way of saying that they really value what the consumers have to say.

2. High Dynamic Range photos are introduced. In short it’s HDR. This actually makes the photos you take from your iPhone or iPod really crisp and much closer to life.

3. Hi-Def video uploads over WiFi is also added to the new iOS 4.1. And this is really great and intuitive since the new iPhone and iPod touch has HD video capture capabilities.

4. TV show rentals are now available with the iOS 4.1 which is an additional feature linked to the TV show purchases.

5. Game Center is finally making its debut for us end-users and I think that it’s going to be a big deal for iPhone and iPod users.

The iOS 4.1 update will be available next week for iPhone and iPod touches, but it’s not available for all models. Oh well, you can’t get everything, can you?

Your thoughts

What do you think? Pretty good deals from Apple? What do you like to add?
